As the owner of one of Arizona’s largest real estate management companies, routinely included in the Business Journal’s Top Women Owned Business list, Trish Kinney is very familiar with the challenges of managing a pressure filled life. Her own relationship with stress, and a high risk cancer diagnosis followed by a bone marrow transplant, eventually led her to study and practice proven methods to promote relaxation and improve health and well being. She determined that the American workplace was very much in need of a daily method that could deliver stress relief, relaxation and mental rest to each and every worker. She assembled a team ranging from successful tech professionals to well known experts in the field of mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation practice to implement her vision, CalmCircle. That was followed by a program uniquely designed for today’s college student, CalmCircleCollege. Trish has a degree in Theatre Arts and had a vibrant performing career prior to building her business. She is also an award winning documentary filmmaker. Daughter of an Air Force fighter pilot, she spent twenty years working with the Vietnam combat veteran community as President of Operation Freedom Bird, an organization that takes a group of veterans to the Wall in Washington DC for Veteran’s Day.
